The transition from the industrial to the information society is characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. Well-rehearsed strategies, cultures and structures are suddenly no longer appropriate. Organizations must now think differently and more flexibly, activate imagination and mobilize all stakeholders for transformation and innovation. Many, however, stick to established behaviors with blind faith in what has made the organization successful in the past.
Blind Spot is a collaborative game to help your team sense and mobilize from the emerging future: During 60 minutes, 4 players are confronted with 48 scenarios and 6 disruptions. Speed, strategy and collaboration matter to handle challenges and resolve conflicting goals. A configurable game board enables players to recreate their own business context.
Blind Spot was originally researched, developed and tested by Sabrina Schenardi and Matthias Koller as design science thesis for their MBA at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) - supported by game developer Robert Stoop.
